Spine surgery
Before resorting to spinal surgery, there are many aspects to consider.
Is surgery necessary to treat the problem or would a non-surgical approach be more appropriate?
If surgery is necessary, is traditional spine surgery or minimally invasive spine surgery better?
If you are suffering from a spinal injury, consult Dr. Francisco Javier Cisneros Oliva to evaluate your situation and arrive at the best solution to suit your needs.

Knee prosthesis
Knee replacements help people of all ages lead active, pain-free lives.
Joints are formed by the ends of two or more bones connected by tissue called cartilage.
Healthy cartilage serves as a protective cushion, allowing smooth, low-friction movement of the joint. If the cartilage is damaged by disease or injury, the tissues surrounding the joint become inflamed, causing pain.
Over time, the cartilage wears away, allowing the rough edges of the bone to rub together, causing more pain.
Dr. Francisco Javier Cisneros Oliva can repair or replace only the damaged parts or perform a total joint replacement.
Hip joint replacement
Joint replacement with synthetic parts of the highest quality, ergonomics and functionality.
Total hip arthroplasty (THA) and total knee arthroplasty (TKA) are highly successful surgical treatments for hip and knee arthritis respectively.
In recent years, hip and knee replacement surgery has evolved into a minimally invasive technique.

Minimally invasive surgery
An endoscope is introduced through small incisions in the body to guide the procedure.
The advantages of minimally invasive joint replacement are:
Less tissue trauma: muscles and tendons are not cut.
Faster and less painful rehabilitation.
Smaller incisions and less scarring: two incisions of 1½ to 2 inches each, instead of one 10- to 12-inch incision.
Shorter hospital stay: 1-2 days (instead of 3-5 days); some patients go home in less than 24 hours.
Reduced blood loss and less need for blood donation prior to surgery.
Faster return to work and daily activities.
